Beginning on Sunday, September 21 (the Sunday after Rally Day!), ALL adults are invited to one of two studies upstairs in our new education building. Both classes will use the same book, Real Faith for Real Life, by Lutheran pastor Michael Foss. But the book will be discussed in two very different ways! One class, led by Carol Waxenberg, is designed for parents with children. What are the values we’re imparting to our kids? By our words and actions, what are we conveying to them about what is important—really important—in life? The second class is designed for all other adults, and asks the question: What are the values by which we live? How does faith play a role, a critical role, in our life, our vocations, our role as citizens? This class will be led by Paul Pedersen, our intern Ladona Webb, and Pastor Bill. We have ordered 60 copies of Pastor Foss’ book, the cost of which is $12 per copy.
