Christ Lutheran Church’s 2012 Vacation Bible School will take place June 11-14 from 5:30 to 8:20 p.m.  With the theme of “Sky,” faith and imagination soar as kids discover that everything is possible with God. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, make and dig into yummy treats, experience electrifying Bible adventures, and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to trust God. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them.

VBS will start with a family-friendly light supper at 5:30, open to everyone.  The Rev. Dr. Rich Nelson will lead an adult Bible study at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Each day concludes with Fly Away Finale—a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 7:55.

Kids at Sky will join the ELCA mission effort to squash malaria in Africa.  Sky is for kids from ages three to entering 6th grade. Families with younger children are encouraged to come to the dinner and stay for the opening show.

For more information, call Scot Redman at 214-363-4355. Suzanne Dunkelberg will be available between Sunday worship services for sign-up opportunities and to answer questions.
