Three years after Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Mississippi Gulf Coast, thousands of families still live in unsafe temporary housing. On behalf of its members, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has committed $2.5 million to Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast to build up to 40 homes, plus a neighborhood pavilion and a park. This is part of a $125 million alliance between Thrivent and Habitat for Humanity International to build thousands of homes in the U.S. and around the world.

You can work side-by-side with other Thrivent Financial members, Lutherans and volunteers to help a family finally “come home.”
