William S. Waxenberg began his ministry at Christ Lutheran Church in February 1995.  Before coming to Dallas, he served congregations in Davenport, Iowa, Grapevine, Texas and Spokane, Washington.

A native of Iowa, Pastor Waxenberg received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Iowa and his Master of Divinity degree from Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Pastor Waxenberg and his wife Carol, a teacher at the Episcopal School of Dallas, have two grown children, Heidi and Ryan.
