Deborah Circle

The Deborah Circle is named in honor of the prophetess, Deborah, who was a strong woman and a judge, willing to be led by God. We became aware of God’s ability to accomplish great things through Deborah because of her willingness to be led by Him.  Like Deborah, we try to focus on what we CAN do, rather than worrying about what we CAN’T do for the Lord.

Bible Studies

The Deborah Circle follows the monthly study in Lutheran Women Today. Members volunteer to lead the study each month (study leaders meet with Pastor Bill on the first Wednesday of each month to discuss the material).  Deborah Circle meets monthly, September through May, with a luncheon in December and a summer evening party for spouses and/or friends.

Members volunteer to host each meeting with coffee and refreshments, which begins at 9:30 am, followed by a short business meeting and Bible Study, which begins at 10:00 am.

Throughout the entire year, members volunteer to send cards to each of our shut-ins to remember birthdays and all holidays.
