In February, love is in the air… and we’d LOVE for you to attend some of the CLCW events taking place this month!

• Book Club ~ Monday, February 4th at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Madge Earnshaw.  We’ll be discussing Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert.


• Deborah Circle ~ Tuesday, February 12th at 9:30 am at the home of Connie Uhri.  Denise Bradshaw will lead the study of Luke 10-12 entitled Jesus Responds to Sin.


• Dorcas Circle ~ Monday, February 11th at 9:30 am in the new church building.  Alice Wood will lead the Bible Study on "Blessed are the Merciful"  from Lutheran Woman Today.  Members can bring the Health Kits they have completed for Lutheran World Relief to the meeting.


• Hannah Circle ~ Thursday, February 14th at 10:00 a.m. in room “N” in the new building to discuss Chapter 6 from Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World.  Linda Kruger will lead the discussion and as always, it’s BYOCoffee!


• Lydia Circle ~ Monday, February 25th at 7:00 pm at the church in room “N” of the new building.  We will go over Chapter 6 of Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World.


• M & Ms ~ Monday, February 11th.  Check the Sunday bulletin for more information.  We will be collecting Valentine items for Patricia, a chemically-sensitive woman.  


• Wednesday Morning Bible Study ~ Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. in room “N” of the new building.

All women are invited to attend the 1st Annual Lenten Women’s Retreat at Christ Lutheran Church!  The retreat will take place Friday evening, February 22nd and Saturday, February 23rd.  The retreat will include prayer, bible study, crafts, fun and fellowship.  The cost for the retreat is $20, which includes Friday night’s dinner, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, as well as supplies needed for a Lenten-themed craft project.  A table will be set up in the narthex on Sunday mornings between services where you can sign-up for the retreat.  Please contact Mary Beth Nitz, CLCW President or any member of the CLCW Board if you want more information regarding the retreat.  We look forward to sharing this exciting event with all the women of Christ Lutheran Church!



Also, please plan to attend Lutheran World Relief Packing Day on Saturday, March 8th!  We will be assembling Health Kits, School Kits and Layettes.  This is always a great opportunity for service and fellowship with other women of CLC.  More details can be found in your CLCW Directory or you can contact Sharon Van Dorn, Stewardship Secretary with any questions at sharonvandorn@aol.com.  Also, please check the Sunday bulletin for more information.
