About

Christ Lutheran Church offers a wide variety of music opportunities. We now have a number of choirs enhancing the worship life at Christ Lutheran Church.  This means an unprecedented number of people participating in making music.  Not only are the choirs for the Adults and Youth of the church, but we also have two excellent Bell Choirs.  There are opportunities for the more musically inclined to participate in the Sunday services as soloist and cantors, or playing a musical instrument.  WE NEED YOU!  Music director, Chuck Blanchard

In Matthew 28, Jesus Christ commands the disciples to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (28:19, NRSV). In what ways is Christ Lutheran Church a disciple-oriented congregation, and in what ways can you support and participate in our outreach ministries?

Sunday School classes are offered for all ages, children as young as age 3 through adults.  All classes meet between our two Sunday morning worship services (9:45-10:45 am.)

Confirmation classes are a place where the young people of our congregation learn more about what it means to be a Lutheran as they explore what they believe.  Through study, discussion, hands on activities, projects, and retreats, youth are challenged to think about what their personal faith means to them and how they can live their lives in a faithful manner.

William S. Waxenberg began his ministry at Christ Lutheran Church in February 1995.  Before coming to Dallas, he served congregations in Davenport, Iowa, Grapevine, Texas and Spokane, Washington.

February 18, 1945.  That was the day Pastor Paul B. Frank gathered 36 people at Highland Park Junior High School to begin a new worshiping community of The American Lutheran Church.  One month later Christ Lutheran Church was formally organized.

in one God, revealed to the world as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Holy Communion is the Lord’s Supper.  All who are baptized and who believe in Christ’s presence to forgive our sins through this sacrament are invited to commune.  We celebrate Holy Communion at each service Sunday.  Special services on major Church festivals and during Lent are announced.
