Ministries

Most of us are familiar with our church’s mission statement: A community of faith, reaching out to change lives.  The Women of the ELCA also have a mission: To mobilize women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.

The Christ Lutheran Church Book Club is open to anyone and everyone.  The only requirement is that you enjoy fellowship and reading & discussing books.  Even if you aren’t an avid reader, you’re welcome to join us...we can always guarantee a lively discussion!

About a dozen men in our congregation gather in the church’s lounge on the first Thursday of every month from 7:30-8:30 a.m. There’s breakfast, Bible study and prayer. There’s no need to make a reservation; just show up and enjoy an hour of good fellowship!

Bandages for topical ulcer patients To be distributed by Global Health Ministries to areas of the world where patients suffer from slow healing open sores and ulcers caused by Leprosy, HIV/AIDs, infected insect bites, burns, etc.

Families in Christ welcomes all families with young children through Kindergarten for a monthly family play-date! We meet the third Sunday of the month for a gathering at a different home/park. Families have the opportunity to get to know each other better and share in a community of faith reaching out to shape little lives. If you are interested in being a part of these activities, please e-mail or call her at 214-358-5161.
