Pastor Ben Dueholm began serving Christ Lutheran Church in September 2019. He previously served churches in Chicago and its suburbs. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago Divinity School and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, and is the author of Sacred Signposts: Words, Water and Other Acts of Resistance. His writing has appeared in the Dallas Morning News, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Christian Century among others. He and his wife Kerry have three children and have been foster parents to eight more.

Hi! I’m Eliana, but eventually, my name always gets shortened to El or just simply E. I’m grateful to be serving at Christ Lutheran as Youth and Family Ministry Director. I am originally from the Chicago area but have called Dallas home since 2008. Minus the five years, I lived in the Middle East. I am a joyful, hope-filled person and love giving that hope and joy to others. I love patios, good food, and meaningful conversations. I hope to build relationships with families and individuals built on trust, confidence, understanding, and, most importantly, Jesus.
