Dear Members of Christ Lutheran Church!!
For the last 25 years our community has benefitted from 19 different, vibrant, motivated, and energetic seminary interns. They became during their stay an important part of our church dynamic. They brought their fresh views, helped to focus differently on our church program and they fostered laughter, inspiration, dance, and deep thoughts.
THEY - were able to learn all aspects of serving a congregation as a pastor, gained confidence in learned how to preach, play with puppets and awe us with memorized bible texts and ballet!
WE - grew and learned from new generations. We enjoyed witnessing the energy and fresh thinking, were inspired by their hands on work, enthusiasm, new ideas, and we see still how the time at Christ Lutheran has changed their and our lives!
OUR CHURCH – is benefitting greatly from the ongoing internship program by:

Using reserves from previous years, the council has set aside $24,000 of the $72,000 needed to fund the intern program. We need to raise $48,000 from our midst to fund the program for the next 2 years. Please consider contributing to this important cause, to allow our pastor to thrive, the church to grow and tap into the youth and those interns to have a chance to experience a successful and growing congregation!!
