This evening is the 3rd in our first ever Fall concert on the lawn series and we will be hosting it indoors for November. Please feel free to bring a snack/beverage to enjoy during the concert. All are welcome. About Hando Nakur: Hando is an international musician originally from Estonia and moved to the United States 10 years ago. He holds 5 degrees from Yale University School of Music, New England Conservatory of Music, Texas Christian University School of Music and SMU Meadows School of the Arts and is currently working on a Doctorate degree at the University of North Texas. Back by popular demand, CLC will host another concert on the lawn on September 22 from 6 till 8 PM featuring music by Keith Dzygun and Ashley Mahon. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Easy Sliders Food Truck will be available if you want to purchase food. Come see the “choir room”! You should have recently received a mailing about a proposed choir room and elevator project. Want to see the space up close? Please join us for tours of the upstairs space this Sunday, August 27 between services and also after the 11:00 service. Meet in the narthex and our friendly tour guides will lead the way! For those who can’t manage the stairs, our team members will be available to answer your questions on the project. Youth Chime Choir to Resume! The beginning of the school year is just around the corner and that means rehearsals for the Youth Chime Choir. We will start with a get-together on Sunday, September 10 at 11:00 AM. We will meet in the Parlor next to the kitchen. We welcome any child/youth in first grade or older! Music knowledge is not necessary! There is a sign-up sheet on the kiosk in the Narthex. Parents, if you child has not been a part of the Chime Choir and might be interested in being a part of this wonderful ministry; please join us for the get-together to see what is involved in being a “Chimer”!
