Last Sunday, September 27, we had a great time with our second “Stroll in the Park”. We met at Winfrey Point, at the east side of the lake near the Baseball fields, and went from there to the nearest water front. We gathered a nice group of 10 people and right there between diving and quacking ducks at the shore Katharina told us about water and its connection to us: how it was there right at the beginning together with God’s Holy Spirit; how dangerous it was for Noah and his family and how wonderful it was for Jesus when he turned it into wine; and how great it is that we’re joining Christ’s body through baptism and how blessed we are that the Holy Spirit is there with us, too.
Afterward we drove to La Madeleine, next to the SMU stadium, and enjoyed a nice fellowship. With such a successful Stroll we are sure that the next one on November 29th will be of similar fashion.
