FILL A BASKET, FILL A NEED was a huge success and will be a huge impact on the 50 families who will each receive 1) a basket of groceries, 2) a bag filled with trimmings for a Thanksgiving Meal, and 3) a $15 turkey voucher! Thank you to everyone for their donation of food, money and time! This was the first year to bring this big outreach project to CLC and everyone helped with open hearts and busy hands to make this a blessing for all those in need who are on the receiving end of this ministry!
The baskets will be blessed on November 22nd and we are putting together a caravan to deliver everything to Mt Olive Lutheran Church Food Pantry after the late service on Sunday, Nov. 22nd. Mt Olive Church will then have a "special pantry day" on the 24th to pass out the gifts to the 50 families that signed up for a basket (and won't they be surprised with they receive a Basket & Bag & Voucher)!
